Okręg Sedan jest okręgiem we Francji, w departamencie Ardeny, w regionie Grand Est. Jego stolicą jest miasto Sedan.

Jest to najbardziej na wschód wysunięty okręg departamentu i ma powierzchnię 792,2 km2 (305,9 m2), najmniejszy okręg departamentu. Ma 59,584 mieszkańców i gęstość 75,2 mieszkańców/km².

Historia

Kiedy w 1800 roku utworzono departament Ardenów, okręg Sedan był częścią tego pierwotnego departamentu.

10 września 1926 r. zlikwidowano okręg Sedan, ale w 1942 r. ponownie stał się okręgiem.

Geografia

Okręg Sedan graniczy od północy z Belgią (prowincja Luksemburg), od wschodu z departamentem Mozy, od południa z okręgiem Vouziers, a od zachodu z okręgiem Charleville-Mézières.
